Abstract
Triazole derivatives’ varied pharmacological characteristics, such as their antibacterial, anticancer, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial activity, have attracted a lot of interest in the field of biomedical science. Their distinct molecular structure, which includes a five membered ring containing nitrogen, enables a variety of chemical changes that may improve the effectiveness of treatment. With an emphasis on their potential for therapeutic development and illness management, this review examines the current status of triazole derivatives in biomedical applications. We also go over new developments in triazole synthesis, mechanisms of action, and therapeutic applications, along with the issues that must be resolved to progress their clinical use. Triazoles have the potential to cure a variety of illnesses in the future, including as cancer, neurological conditions, and infectious diseases, provided medicinal chemistry continues to advance.
